Business After Hours is the social event you don’t want to miss. Held at rotating locations, the events create and promote business opportunities for everyone involved. The relaxed social atmosphere allows you the opportunity to meet business leaders, mingle among community members and network to forge powerful partnerships for yourself and your company.

You're invited to the return of our annual joint event to recap a successful year for both the GCC and EDC...and to look forward to the next! There will be entertainment throughout the evening with special guests and fun surprises along the way. Light snacks, cash bar, all are welcome.

The Promotion Committee promotes Story City as a place of commerce, culture and community life for residents and visitors alike.

The Organization Committee builds strong, broad-based public and private support for the commercial district and revitalization initiative. The Economic Vitality Committee identifies opportunities for the commercial district, finds new uses for vacant buildings and stimulates investment in property.

Story City businesses are encouraged to stay open until 6:00 PM on the second Thursday of the month. The theme for February's Extended Hours event is "We are Over Winter." Wear a Hawaiian shirt.
